Running Away to Reno!

Michelle Cole and I got convinced by our men to drive from Utah and Idaho to the Northwest corner of Nevada. We left around 11am on Friday July 8th from Pocatello to Reno and got to learn a lot about each other and build a friendship. It was nice to finely meet someone that had their significant other in Reno. On the drive to Reno, we were stopped for nearly an hour and a half for three different reasons (2 construction stops and a freak helicopter landing on the highway). We finally got to Reno and still had to wait nearly five hours to see our guys. We made them dinner of artichoke, chicken, Alfredo pasta with some corn. I think the boys like because we had no leftovers. We just went to bed after that because the boys were exhausted.

Saturday, everyone woke up at 8:30am to get the boys out the door for work and then Michelle and I went back to bed til 11:30am. After that her and I got ready for the day and went out to go shopping ish. I got to spend some money from the wedding presents at Target to get things from around the house such as a skillet, glasses, bowls and containers. Then we were off to Ulta for eyebrow pencils and DSW for none other than shoes :). Finally we ended our time by going to get pedicures at a place called HongKong Nail. Well lets just say when its called that it means run from the creepy man. And lets just say the pedicure was not the greatest either.

After that we finally got back to the apartment at about 7pm and waited around to see the boys. Finally got bored of just sitting around and watched Grown Ups. Around 9pm the boys come home and we convince them to get dressed and go out with us. We went to Mexican Restaurant and to the Atlantis Casino for the night. And guess what the Casino was good for everyone, Andrew and I did well and also watched a couple of people make thousands of dollars on the craps table.

All the food we had at the Mexican place for 4 people!

Sunday was a fun adventure but a sad one at that. The boys found out that they had to leave today and were not able to stay the  night. So in order to enjoy our last day with the boys we went to the water park. The boys left for Eureka later that evening about 9pm and got in to California that morning at 5am. Michelle and I left for home Monday at 10am.

It was a good weekend but one I bet all of us wished was longer!

Wyoming Adventure!!!

On Thursday, June30th I finally finished my Online Business Statistics class with my third exam. When I got done and finally got home, I raced around the house packing for my next adventure to Wyoming to see the Ibarra's and Ford's. It was a race because I still had my suitcase to unpack from the adventure to Lake Tahoe from the previous week. Once laundry was done and I was finally in bed it was roughly 2 in the morning.

On Friday, July 1st I woke up at 7am to finish packing and leave the house to go see my mother in-law regarding residency and paperwork. I finally left from Rigby to head to Billings Montana at 10:30am. I went to Billings, MT to visit the Temple and feel the spirit. When I left Billings, I headed south toward Powell, WY. I got into Powell at 5:30pm and finally got to see the family. We left that night for Cody, Wy for the Cody Stampede where I got to see a fun Rodeo with Aunt Sonja, Uncle Benco, Lindsey and Jacey.

Fun times with the cousins!

It was a fun time with the cousins in Cody at the Rodeo. We were very sad though when the horses were being aggressive and trying to get out of the pins and the massive bulls that came in too. I felt really bad for the crazy cowboys.

On Saturday, June 2nd we had an adventure once again and went to Cody to go bowling. The three of us went to the bowling alley along with Brooks their cousin on the Ibarra side.

After bowling, that evening we went to Momma Ibarra's house and had home made Mexican food, which I dearly craved. After that around 9pm we went back to the motor home and did our own firework show. Thanks Uncle Benco!!!!

The weekend ended great with some fireworks and parades for the fourth of July on Monday!!!! My favorite moment from the weekend adventure was the pet raccoon from the parade.

Casey Anthony Trial

Yesterday, the jury reached a verdict that they may never or always regret for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, it is true that there really was no sufficient evidence linking Casey to be the killer of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. HOWEVER, the majority of the population knows with out a doubt that she killed Caylee whether it was premeditated or not. More than likely Casey will walk free Thursday after her sentencing but her life is still over. She will have a hard time getting a job and no matter what the jury's verdict was she will hear what people think from every angle.

I believe this is what happened... Casey wanted to have some fun but is so prideful she did not want Caylee to be in the care of her parents. Casey chloroformed Caylee and put her in the trunk so she could have a good time for the night. When she went back to the trunk to get Caylee she was dead. Casey panicked and did not want to tell her parents or the police what she had done so she drove the car to her parent's while they were at work, borrowed a shovel from the neighbor to bury her in the backyard like her dogs had been buried. When that plan failed she got nervous and threw her in the woods just near her home.

She is a liar and will always be a liar. She will be set free, be taken to a secure location, change her name, die her hair and do whatever it takes to live a normal life. She wrote letters in jail saying how she plans on having more children or adopting. Poor kids that have to go through hell for the rest of their lives. It's sad that the jury knew without a doubt that Casey is guilty but had to go with the evidence shown to them which was not good enough. Jurors were sick to their stomach and crying when they made their decision. Does that not tell you that she is guilty? How could anyone get away will murdering their 2-year-old innocent daughter? The parent's will never be the same because Casey ruined their marriage, family relationship and any reputation they ever had. I hope someday they can be somewhat normal again which I don't think they ever were but they don't deserve to go through hell for the rest of their lives.

Justice was not done for Caylee and her killer will now live her "Beautiful Life" (Bella Vita). Casey will be punished when it matters most and it will be by the higher power which will be even better than anything here on earth. Just wait until that day comes and then we will have justice for Caylee. HE knows what really happened and who is at fault.

Updates!!!

Okay since it has been a decade since I have updated this beautiful blog I have created I figured I should. There is one main person to blame for this lack of updating and that would be my fiance, Andrew Trost, who I met roughly four months ago. February 9th, 2011 to be exact.

In February, Andrew and I met at the Idaho State University Institute. We then went on a date to the Institute Date and hit it off from there. That weekend I met his sister Kendle Hammon, brother Mitchell Trost, mother and father Brad and Bari Trost. It was a fun weekend but definitely one I was not expecting. Later on in the month, it was his twin sister's birthday and his oldest sister birthday so they were all in Rigby Idaho and we went up there to visit. The following weekend we went with his parents to Vegas to have a fun weekend with the family and their friends the Stallings.

In March, Andrew and I grew even closer then ever. He even cut his trip short in Costa Rica to come to Mesa, Az and meet my parents! And let me just tell you he went through a trip from hell. Flying to Costa Rica loosing his luggage going to the wrong location and even having to go a day or two with out his own clothes. I felt way bad for him, but the one part of the trip that we thought would go horrible was actually the best part of the trip. Because Andrew asked my father for my hand in marriage and he and the rest of the family said yes.... :))))

April, was just a process of finishing school and passing classes.

May, began with a bang, because Andrew left me for a month to go work in Reno, Nevada to sell security systems. He has been gone this entire time and I finally got to see him this past weekend when he came with me to South Dakota for my cousins wedding. Driving 3,000 miles across the country and flying and spending time with the Core family is something that little can  handle - BUT Andrew did!

I love Andrew Bradley Trost and cant wait to marry him!
